New payment policies for EU citizens.

Dear customers, we would like to let you know that on September 14, EU Payment Services Directive (PSD2) comes in force with new Strong Customer Authentication. For customers, this means that payment will be more secure.

For paying online, you will need to authenticate your payment using two different factors. According to the new directive, there are such groups of factors for authentication as:

• Knowledge (e.g. password),
• Possession (e.g. a smartphone, a one-time password) and
• Inherence (e.g. fingerprint).
